This video presents the bells h0 -d1 -e1 -f#1 -a1 -h1 [Si2 -re3 -mi3 -fa#3 -la3 -si3] of S. Jakobus church in Biberbach near Augsburg. The little bell [6] was made in 1905 by bell foundry Hamm in Augsburg. All other bells [1+2+3+4+5] were made by bell foundry Grueninger in Neu - Ulm in 1949. These bells are made of "Weißbronze" material. It's a chopper-aluminum alloy which was used by Grueninger shortly after Wold War II to make relatively economical bells. The peal of Biberbach is one of the last big "Weißbronze" peals in Germany. These bells were usually decommissioned in 1950-1960 due to typically bad sound development and significant material wear.
