Building My Off Grid Orchard & Preparing the Solar Field

This week on the off grid homestead, I started turning another piece of raw land into something useful for the future. I began building a small apple orchard, planted the first apple tree, started the blueberry patch, and worked on shaping the ground with the tractor. I also made a trip to town for fencing materials, used a little of my own milled lumber, and had to adjust the plan after the free-range cattle reminded me why everything needs protected up here. I also figured out the solar area and got the post holes dug for the next phase of the off grid power setup. It may not look like one huge project on camera, but this was one of those weeks where a lot of little jobs start connecting together — food, fencing, solar, and getting the shop ready for the next round of work. Slowly but surely, this raw land keeps becoming more of a real off grid homestead. #OffGridLiving,#CabinBuild,#HomeSteadingLife,    / @offgridal
