How Tartary influenced The Renaissance in Europe (the “Grand Tartaria” rabbit hole)

What is Tartary? Today, I will look to answer that question by examining the influence that the landscape once labeled as “Tartary” or “Grand Tartaria” had on the European World. This will include before, during, and after the Renaissance. In doing so, I will uncover for you a multitude of never-before-shared theories regarding the foundations of Tartary, as well as a more dynamic look on the possible origins, or pre-cursors to Tartary. We will dissect the differences between “The Golden Horde” and “Grand Tartaria”, and I’ve also located for you the earliest known images from this region, including the first photographs of the Great Wall of China, and of The Forbidden City in Beijing, which was formerly a capital city for the ruling class of “Tartarians”. This video will (hopefully) answer a lot of your questions through introducing you to new concepts and theories, while also showcasing just how advanced and intricate this region was. As we are covering both the current narrative history, and more pseudo-scientific theories, remember to take everything with a grain of salt, and enjoy!
