Dr. Greg Carr Pours Libation
African Diasporan History also known as Black History Month is 365 days a year. However for the purposes of educating the masses the observance of the innovation, invention and ingenuity of Black folx in this country begins today. In honor of our collective ancestors across the diaspora I share this libation offered by Howard University Professor Dr. Greg Carr. A libation is a spoken or embodied prayer offered to acknowledge ancestors who made significant contributions to the world. We pour and call for those energies to guide us in our current struggle for freedom. #blackhistory #knowyourhistory #libations #liberation #africandiaspora #criticalracetheory #allpowertothepeople
