There's also a term called 'low branching' that refers to trees in where the branches start lower to the ground, also making it ideal for screening and creating wind breaks. Multi trunks tend to eat up more space with angled trunks emerging from the base. When it comes to placement, single trunk trees are generally able to fit in tighter spots due to a more slim profile.
