Why I hate playing DPS

Also it's probably unfair to compare MMOs to RPGs cuz the combat systems are so so different, which probably also contributes to why I can enjoy DPSing in a single player RPG but not as much in MMOs. Even though I certainly have a better idea as to why I hate DPS jobs in games so much, I may never fully understand why I find it so unfun.
