One Week with the Leica SL3-P

Disclosure: flights, meals and hotel for this trip were provided by Leica. I took the SL3-P through the ancient streets of Germany and into a surprise medieval festival where the Rhine meets the Moselle river, as well as the Nürburgring on one of the most historic race days in its history. This is a first impressions field review, not a spec sheet. Here are my thoughts and feelings after one week with the camera. 00:00 Intro - Oscar Barnack and the Art of Simplicity 01:27 SL3-P overview 04:29 Build quality and ergonomics 05:47 44 megapixels 06:52 UI and user settings 07:39 Autofocus: what works, what doesn't 08:15 The Nürburgring and automotive tracking 10:03 Human subject detection notes 11:59 Leica color science and JPEGs 14:21 White balance and color casts 15:43 Video menu deep dive 16:31 Leica Fotos app 17:03 Battery life 17:52 Price and value 20:01 Final thoughts #LeicaSL3P #LeicaReview
