Our second day in Darjeeling turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our trip! ❤️ We started our morning before sunrise and headed to the famous Tiger Hill hoping to witness the majestic Kanchenjunga. Although the weather played hide and seek, the chilly mountain air and breathtaking Himalayan landscape made the experience unforgettable. Our journey continued through some of Darjeeling's most iconic attractions: 🌄 Tiger Hill 🛕 Peaceful Monastery 🍃 Happy Valley Tea Estate with stunning valley views 🏔️ Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) 🐼 Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park 🧗 Tenzing Rock ☸️ Japanese Peace Pagoda 🚂 The iconic Batasia Loop and the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Toy Train Along the way, we enjoyed delicious steaming momos, hot Maggi, and freshly brewed coffee while soaking in the cool mountain weather. Watching the toy train pass through the roads, walking amidst lush green tea gardens, and experiencing the peaceful charm of Darjeeling made this day truly magical.
