We ploughed and cultivated 1500 square yards, then planted 250 kilos of main crop seed. We are using a Bomet planter, pulled by an AGT Agromechanika Alpine tractor. The 48 horse-power tractor has a low ground-pressure when fitted with wide tyres and is normally used for cutting the reeds on nearby County Wildlife Site, which has 134 species of plant in a single field.
