万葉集（３） 上代日本語の発音で朗読 Man'yōshū with Old Japanese pronunciation part 3
満を持して、柿本人麻呂登場。 29～31は、僅か五年で遷都された幻の首都・近江宮の退廃を嘆く歌です。 考えてみれば、近江に都があった時期、人麻呂は七歳～十二歳前後。 現代で言えば、小学生の期間です。 多感な時期に、近江を自国の首都と認識していた彼にとって、近江宮は、 彼自身の少年時代の象徴となっていたのかも知れませんね。 Kakinomoto no Hitomaro is called "Kasei". "Ka" means "poem" and "sei" means "celebrated person" in Chinese character. (e.g. L.V.Beethoven is called "Gakusei" in Japan. "Gaku" means "music") 29-31 are poems that Kakinomoto lament over decay of "Ōmi-no-miya", the former capital in only five years. Kakinomoto was about 7-12 years old in the days of Ōmi-no-miya. This is just elementary school days as modern people. He recognized Ōmi-no-miya as capital city at the susceptible age, so the former capital may had become empitomized his own boyhood for him.
