C'est pas sorcier - La Loire : d'Orléans à l'estuaire
The Loire is the European river with the greatest ripple effect. Fred and Jamy will retrace the steps of the last major flood of 1866. They will show us the methods used to combat flooding and protect the 300,000 people who still live in flood-prone areas. Then Fred will continue his journey aboard an old gabare, a square-rigged cargo boat that plied the Loire in the mid-19th century.
