This is a travel video from HIS's "Easy 5 Days in Egypt" (January 14-18, 2026). This is day three of our itinerary. We arrived in Egypt yesterday. This video is from the first half of day two. Since it's a five-day tour, we departed early, at 7:00 AM. I managed to wake up early enough to overcome yesterday's fatigue. Today, we're touring the Saqqara area. Egypt is famous for the three Great Pyramids of Giza, but Saqqara is home to the oldest pyramid. Following on from yesterday, I was deeply moved by seeing something thousands of years old. I felt like I was experiencing the ancient atmosphere. The colorful murals in the mastaba were especially stunning.
