Creating Realistic Photo Backdrops For Model Railroads
Taking the measurements and beginning the process of creating custom photo backdrops for my model railroad. To keep the size of the printed vinyl decal down, I will be painting the entire backdrop a sky blue color and then applying the mountain and treeline decal right onto it. I measure each section of the backdrop to get accurate dimensions and any oddities that need to be designed around. Using Corel Draw, I create an image the size of the largest rectangular dimensions of each piece. Using very large raw images from my DSLR I will use Corel Draw to stitch the images together and create a realistic looking backdrop for the entire railroad. More to come!
