My Response to the Comments:    • Easier Way to Remove PEX Stainless Steel C...   Unhooking the clamp and cutting off the pex is not as easy as it seems, here I show you how I do it, when I really want to reuse a plastic fitting. Normally you might try salvaging metal fittings since they're more expensive and easier to remove, but for those who need to save a couple plastic ones, this is how I do it. I use the Stainless Steel Clamp Ring and they can be difficult to remove from plastic fittings, because many tools crack or break the plastic fitting. YES, this is more difficult under a house upside down in the dark with only the tools you happen to have on you, but I hope you still find this bench-top demonstration useful. ProTip, use a lighter to warm the PEX, instead of using the razor blade. it will pull off easily!
