"Furusato," sold in the condiments section, is an "unrefined sugar" that's made using a different method than regular sugar (refined sugar). When I compared it to the sugar I normally use, I was surprised at how different the taste and aroma were! It's packed with natural minerals, and the sweet, fragrant aroma and rich flavor that oozes from the sugar itself were impressive. (ﾟ∀ﾟ) Just switching to this sugar could completely change the way I cook... I feel like that's the potential. It's also affordable! And I definitely recommend trying the sugar toast!
