Southern Stingray Catch, Clean, Cook | Topsail Island, NC

Fall fishing in North Carolina can be rewarding and unpredictable as fish rotate between fattening up for winter and shutting down as the first cold fronts move through bringing cooler temperatures. This trip to Topsail Island, NC was no different. On this day we loaded up on Southern and Atlantic stingray with several large ones caught. These were some of the largest to date we had caught and kept and we were anxious to see how they would taste, and they did not disappoint.
