I converted the manual rear air conditioning in my Toyota Hiace 200 Series (6th generation) to automatic! ▼Work Summary Cooling wire cut: White/Red wire Heating wire cut: White/Black wire The cut wire is the ground wire (negative wire). Switching the ground wire controls the automatic ON/OFF of the air conditioning. Removing the interior trim to disassemble the heating wiring Remove the two bolts with a Phillips head screwdriver Remove the seat belt with an M14 socket wrench to remove the interior trim. The fuse box (under the passenger seat) is located at ACC No. 2 (7.5A). Body ground is connected by removing the nut next to the fuse box and using a ring terminal.
