El Secreto Oculto en la Prosa de BORGES (Que va a cambiar tu forma de escribir) / TCyC #439
Can prose be written with the soul of poetry? In this program, the extraordinary essayist, poet, and storyteller Analía Pinto will show you that it is. Join this excellent coordinator, a member of the TCyC Pedagogical Team, for an analytical and profound reading of "The South," the masterpiece by Jorge Luis Borges. Discover with her how the master of Argentine and world literature camouflaged lyricism within his narrative, transforming each sentence into a piece of a perfect clockwork mechanism. Furthermore, Analía invites you to adopt Borges's tools to enhance your own fictional universes. Get your notebook ready: today your writing will change forever. ⚠️ AND ATTENTION: Write to ANALÍA PINTO to join the Poetry Workshop she's offering as part of the Editing and Proofreading Workshop: [email protected]. Even if your forte is short stories and novels, you'll benefit. Because poetry permeates everything, as Pinto perfectly explains in this video. 👉 Join the Editing and Proofreading Workshop! According to Nicolás Amelio-Ortiz, “Any story from ’25 Nights of Insomnia’ (Bärenhaus, 2017) could be adapted into a script for ‘Black Mirror’ or ‘The Twilight Zone.’” He is the author of the long-seller “Taller de corte y correcto. Guía para la creación literaria” (Sudamericana, 1st ed., 1997 - Debolsillo Best Seller, 2022), the thriller “Victoria entre las sombras” (Sudamericana, 2011), and fifteen other books of poetry, fiction, and essays published between 1983 and 2019. Having recently settled in “the golden city by the sea” (as he refers to Mar del Plata in one of his poems), Di Marco is celebrating the first four decades of a career that has established him as one of the most outstanding writers of his generation. On March 1, 2013, with production by ZEPfilms.com, he launched his YouTube channel, /tallercyc. Through this successful educational platform, and with his characteristic passionate style, he reveals new secrets each week about his great passion: the craft of writing.
