Which Osram HID bulb is the brightest? NEW CBN? HID Xenon bulb test with old CBI, XNL and CBB line.

We have tested the new Osram Cool Blue Intense - Next-generation - CBN - line HID xenon bulbs that replaces the current Cool Blue Intense line. And compared the CBN to the current/old Cool Blue Intense, the Night Breaker Laser XNL, and the Cool Blue Boost CBB. So it's a real Osram bulbs shootout test. The new CBN line has a Kelvin rating of up to 6200k, in real life, this will be generally around 5500/6000k. And the bulbs are ECE approved. The XNL is rated 4500k and the CBB is rated up to 7000k (not ECE approved). The new CBN is definitely brighter than the current CBI Line. And also brighter than the CBB. The XNL and CBN are comparable in terms of light output, but the color of the CBN is much whiter/more modern than the XNL. This is quite remarkable, because usually the higher the Kelvin value, the less output the bulbs have. The color temperature of the XNL line is a bit more yellow, which is usually easier for the eye and makes for better visibility in bad weather conditions. We have not added the Philips XV2 in this test, so we won't draw conclusions regarding the light output. But the color of the CBN will probably be more white than the XV2, the Philips XV2 is rated 4800k. So when you are looking for the brightest bulbs available with a modern white color temperature the Osram CBN is 100% your best option!
