Simulating A Driven Shoot in Scotland with Scottish Gamekeeper George Elliott | Kirby Allison

As part of our 'From Suit To Shoot' Series, following the journey of preparing for a proper driven shoot on an estate in Scotland, Kirby spent time with gamekeeper George Elliott, learning about his vital role in preserving and ensuring a thriving ecosystem throughout all of the wildlife populations on the Estates. However, a big part of George's business is also in promoting shooting sports for everyone, all year round. As a result, he has recently begun offering an exciting type of sports shooting, which is 'simulated driven shoots'. His state of the art clay pigeon traps can simulate a proper driven shoot of a variety of different bird species. This means you can have a fun, exciting shoot, with all the skill needed for a real bird shoot, but this can be done all year round. No off-season, and no birds actually harmed in the process.
