Timothy Rice Key Verses: Philippians 1:27-30 (ESV) As current citizens of EARTH we are called to live as future citizens of HEAVEN. “Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” - Jesus, in John 15:20 ETERNAL values often create conflict with EARTHLY values. “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” - 2 Timothy 3:12 Citizens share the BURDENS and the BLESSINGS of living together. 1. We STAND together. 2. We STRIVE together. 3. We SUFFER together. 4. We are SAVED together! If we make it our aim to be in the SPIRIT of Christ and to have the MIND of Christ then we can be sure of the PRESENCE of Christ. Citizens of Heaven have nothing to fear from anything here on Earth!
