OC Transpo O-Train Line 1 "Confederation Line": Single-Car Train Operations (2023)

Between July 17, 2023 and August 8, 2023, OC Transpo suspended O-Train LRT LIne 1 due to axle bearing issues and track issues (specifically train wheels making contact with the restraining rails). When O-Train LRT Line resumed service, only single-car trains were put into service instead of the usual double-car trains. On August 8, 2023, partial service resumed between Tunney's Pasture Station and uOttawa Station, while full service on the entire line between Blair Station and Tunney's Pasture Station did not resume until August 14, 2023. During weekday service between August 14, 2023 and August 25, 2023, OC Transpo operated the following frequencies on O-Train LRT Line 1 6 minute service with 11 single-car trains during the AM Rush Hour 7 to 8 minute service with 9 single-car trains during off-peak hours 5 minute service with 13 single-car trains during the PM Rush Hour Two (2) of the AM Rush Hour Trains were respectively parked at Blair and Tunney's Pasture when reducing the train count from 11 single-car trains to 9 single-car trains, and then redeployed during the PM Rush Hour Trains when increasing the count from 9 single-car trains to 13 single-car trains This video will show the single-car trains in action along the line at every stations, and both sides of the platform.
