WATCH: Flag-Raising Ceremony at the Ham Reid - Nelson Road Roundabout
A flag-raising ceremony was held held Wednesday morning at the roundabout at Ham Reid Road and Nelson Road. The ceremony marked the completion of the $4.3 million project, which began in July of 2016. Police Juror Guy Brame kicked off the ceremony. Raising the flag were Calcasieu Parish Police Juror Dennis Scott and military veterans, Whitney Derise (U.S. Navy) and Dean Ford (U.S. Army).
