I Tried Fixing My 3000GT VR4.. Here's What Happened
We were losing fuel pressure on my 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. After testing the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator, we come to the conclusion that the current FPR is no longer any good. Even after swapping regulator and doing a boost leak test, we still notice intermittent cut in the higher RPM range. We are assuming we are due for a new ECU to be able to tune and refine how the car drives now that it is mechanically sound.
