Railroad Crossing | Willis St, Kent, WA

🗓 Date: 7/16/24 🛤 Line: BNSF Seattle Subdivision ✭✭✭ Here is one of the many grade crossings I filmed on July 16th, 2024 in King and Pierce Counties, Washington. I came to this crossing since it was the only crossing on the BNSF in Kent that I hadn't managed to properly film. Here we see a southbound grain train with quite a nice lashup, two C44-9Ws leading an ES44C4. The Dash 9 in second position was wearing the "Fakebonnet" scheme too, always nice to see. This crossing appears to feature a set of gates installed by the BNSF upon introduction of Sounder commuter service circa 2000. Most of the equipment remains unchanged except for the replacement of the original General Signals electronic bells with newer ones and an LED retrofit of the lights. ✭✭✭ Timestamps: 0:00 - Signal activation 1:23 - Train 4:14 - Signal deactivation ✭✭✭ Visit my other media platforms here! https://linktr.ee/The_Central_Texas_R...
