DOS Game: Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego (1985 Broderbund)

An educational/strategy problem-solving mystery game where you must find clues leading to the hideout of Carmen Sandiego and her gangs. After you capture her and her gangs, you retrieve the stolen items from all parts of the world and send them back to the location it belongs to. You get promoted to a higher ranking status for successful completion of each cases. The following ranks as it follows: -Rookie -Sleuth -Private Eye -Investigator -Ace Detective. Carmen Sandiego is usually the last character in the game. Capturing her completes the game. I really wanted to do the Apple II version since graphically it was much superior to the DOS version and uses more colors. Due to emulation problems of the Apple II version, I have no choice but to do the DOS version instead. Either way it's still the original game that started the Carmen Sandiego franchise. Be sure you know all your geography such as capitals of the countries and its history since that's what the game really depends on in order to progress through the game.
