The Story Behind This Costa Rican Coffee | German's San Isidro 48 from Grecia

A lot of things had to go right for this coffee to taste as good as it does. In this video, we take a closer look at a San Isidro 48 coffee grown in San Isidro de Grecia, Costa Rica, by Germán, an agronomist who helps other producers improve their coffee while also caring for his own small research farm. This coffee was grown at 1,400 meters in Costa Rica’s Central Valley and processed as a fully washed coffee, giving it a clean, smooth, sweet, and chocolatey profile. If you do not normally drink coffee black, this is a great one to try. Recommended brew ratio: 1 gram of coffee to 16 grams of water. More than just coffee, this cup carries the place it came from, the care that went into it, and all the little things that had to go right before it reached your hands. 0:00 Intro — everything that had to go right 0:19 San Isidro 48 from Grecia, Costa Rica 0:45 Meet Germán and his research farm 1:59 Fully washed process explained 2:35 Recommended brew ratio
