The game also includes the Yoshi Challenge, where players can revisit stages to search for hidden Yoshi Eggs, and a new point-scoring system. Super Mario Bros. Advance has seen a variety of improvements in both graphics and sound, including larger character sprites, combo hits, and digital voiceovers. Subtle changes in style and aesthetics are also evident, such as a modified health-meter level, a reshuffled boss sequence, updated backgrounds, scaled-down hearts, and the transition of Princess Toadstool’s name to the more contemporary “Princess Peach”. The game now features a bell sound to signal the arrival of Stars, further enriching the gaming experience.
