Rupin Pass is a trail that crosses over from Uttarakhand to Himachal Pradesh, over an adventurous mountain pass over 15,000 ft. While the trek is widely known for the surprising changes in scenery everyday, there are several details that trekkers tend to miss out on. The trek's snow bridges, vast snow fields, the unique pass crossing -- these are not often seen on other Himalayan treks. And Rupin Pass has the best of them. Arjun Majumdar, the founder of Indiahikes, explored the trek in 2008 and opened it up to trekkers after founding Indiahikes in 2009. Over the past decade, he has done the trek several times and holds the trek very close to his heart.
