First Attempt at Fabricating Suicide Door Hinges from SCRAP for a 1945 Chevy CrewCab

Well here we are and another week is gone by... I was only in the garage working on the truck for 4 hours total this week. I did get one suicide door hinge kinda mounted and figured out? Maybe? I need help! Please comment and let me know what you think would be better? Or how I could make this more functional?
