VIVIENNE WESTWOOD Spring Summer 1994 Paris 4K - Canale Moda

Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/Summer 1994 show Café Society was presented at the Grand Hotel during Paris Fashion Week. The collection explored exchanges between French and English dress traditions, drawing on 19th century French fashion and couture references. Volume was a defining element throughout, developed in collaboration with Andreas Kronthaler. Tailored jackets and trousers were shown alongside ballgowns in silk, taffeta, and lace, many featuring enlarged bows and extended trains. The color palette moved through black, cream, light pink, yellow, red, royal blue, orange, and brown. The show concluded with a white floral wedding dress. Models wore black embellished stilettos, with hair styled in curled, pinned up arrangements and makeup focused on dark eyeshadow and lipstick. Join our community!
