At Sebastian's invitation, I had the opportunity to experience my "first time" on this reservoir, which, by the way, I'll definitely remember for a long time 😅 The very beginning was a big surprise for me. The first morning, and the ride immediately began without a hitch. Regular bites began at dawn, and our rods alternated for several hours. Surprisingly, really big fish were coming off my rods... 😲 One of the first catches was quite unusual. A fish, glued to the bottom, slowly moved around the edges of our spot. After a dozen or so minutes of this fight, I began to wonder if I'd forgotten how to land fish after a long break from fishing, or if I simply had a squid at the end of my rig. The exhausted fish finally showed up, and we knew we were dealing with a 20+ carp. 🐟 I started backing the rod toward the bank, while Seba entered the water with the landing net, and on the first attempt, we placed the log in the net of our landing net. The scale read 22.8kg – it's already beautiful, but it turned out the best was yet to come...😃⚖️ The next bites meant more big fish. The carp were leaving literally every 15 minutes, and at one point, almost all the rods were on the bank 🎣 Since carp often swim in schools, we wanted to make the most of this golden time, so after each fish caught, we tried to return the rig to the water as quickly as possible and add a handful of boilies and a nut to keep the fish in the catch as long as possible. This plan worked 100%, as I had another dynamic run on my rod. The fish are coming in masses - now I have no doubts, it must be another piece of junk... Seba shouted "20" while landing it, and he wasn't wrong 😉 A 20.8kg carp lands on our mat, and I must admit, I immediately noticed it's a remarkable specimen. The slender fish, dotted with beautiful scales around its belly and tail, completely stole my heart... 😍 All the slings are taken, and the fun isn't over yet... We have a repeat of the fun - a vigorous bite on one of my rods, the line coming off the reel spool at lightning speed. The fish is moving clumsily and making very dynamic escapes every now and then. After a dozen or so minutes of fierce fighting, the 22kg fat fish gives up and falls into our landing net. I still can't believe what happened... Not even 24 hours have passed since we started our fishing trip on Krążno, and we've already scored a hefty hat trick - three carp weighing 20+ caught in literally 2 hours 🤯 I invite you to watch the video!
