AU STORY ( It might change some bits in Percy Jackson) Not completely accurate to the Amphoreus storyline Cerydra, the youngest child of Zeus, who is a god. She is not that attached to Zeus at some point. She would rather question her siblings sometimes on why they usually follow his orders, which sometimes is so ridiculous. She didn’t help her father’s infidelity like her siblings did, which caught the attention of the Queen of the gods. However, she still has that distinct disdain, as she is a child of infidelity, but Hera is slowly acknowledging how she does not have her father’s temper and recklessness. Cerydra is patient, composed, and has a sense of duty, especially not hungry for Zeus’s attention. This earned Hera’s approval even more. Cerydra shows more respect for Hera than for her own father. Hera would sometimes allow Cerydra to stand beside her in divine councils, trusting her with matters involving oaths, stability, or diplomacy and correcting others who spoke of Cerydra as “just Zeus’s child.” Hera became her cold(strict but not harsh) mentor, and Cerydra sometimes feels sad that Hera will never love her. Hera, on the other hand, just saw her as a more ‘worthy’ daughter of Zeus. When it comes to her siblings, she does feel sad when Thalia died, also a little weirded out why her father turned her into a tree, but she just believes it's for the better. She kinda also looked at the irony of what her father said about forbidden kids when he has one himself. She only found out all of these things with the help of Cyrene and some nymphs that Hera assigned to her.
