You want to start crocheting amigurumi, and the first question arises: What materials will I need? In this video, I show you the basic materials we need to crochet our first amigurumi. I give you some important tips for finding the right materials, and I recommend my favorite brands. Before anything else, you need to choose a pattern for your first project. Look for one for beginners so you feel more confident and get better results. Basic materials to start your amigurumi: Pattern: The pattern will indicate the yarn type and needle size recommended for the project. Needle: The size will be the one indicated on the yarn and in your project's pattern. Thread: The yarn type/thickness will be indicated in your project's pattern. My favorite brands: Dina e Amigurumi (Circle); Balloon (Pingouin); Amigu Love (Swan) Stitch marker: optional; you can also use small pieces of colored yarn. Silicone fiber: preferably hypoallergenic.
