كيف وصلت الديناصورات لقمة مجدها؟
How did dinosaurs reach their peak during the Cretaceous period? In this episode of Dinosaur Empire, we travel back to the Cretaceous period, the era when dinosaurs reached their zenith and dominated most of Earth's environments—from the snowy forests of the far north to swamps, isolated islands, flowering plains, and even the underwater world. 125 million years ago, dinosaurs were engaged in a fierce battle for survival in a changing world. In the frozen north, Yutyrannus, the fearsome feathered predator known as the Ice King, stalked herds of sauropods through the snow. As the Earth warmed and the ice melted, the Cretaceous period began to shape a completely new world—a world filled with rainforests, flowering plants, insects, and new prey. We see how pterosaurs clashed with early flying dinosaurs like Longipteryx, and how flowering plants (angiosperms) transformed life on Earth, causing the demise of some ancient herbivores like the Stegosaurs, while others adapted, such as Belleropelts, the armored dinosaur capable of floating and traversing water. Then we move to the isolated islands that gave rise to one of the strangest dinosaurs of the Cretaceous period: Magyarosaurus, the dwarf sauropod, which lived in a world surrounded by water and hunted by giant celestial predators like Hatzegopteryx. Finally, we arrive at one of history's greatest predators: Spinosaurus, the Egyptian king and the largest land predator, venturing into the water to hunt sharks in a terrifying display that proves the dinosaur empire didn't just rule the land… it extended to swamps, rivers, and the edges of the seas. A documentary series about dinosaurs, the Cretaceous period, the evolution of life, species extinction, ancient predators, armored herbivores, flying reptiles, and the ecosystem millions of years ago.
