Composite Positional Tolerancing
In GD and T Standard ASME Y 14.5 2018, Composite Positional Tolerancing is one of the important tolerancing concept. Generally this concept to understand and apply engineers felt little challenging. This video is made with many real world examples and animations to clarify the concept. Point-by-Point each thing is explained in very precise and simplest form. Advantages: Efficiency: Reduces the need for multiple tolerance specifications by combining location and orientation tolerances in one unified system. Flexibility: Allows for different levels of precision for different parts of the feature. Improved Functionality: It is particularly useful when the feature needs to fit within a larger assembly or when complex geometry is involved. When to Use: Multiple features that need to be precisely located in relation to one another. When parts must fit within tight assemblies where multiple features need to align with greater accuracy. When both the location and orientation of a feature are critical.
