This song is dedicated to Sefanaia Sukanaivalu VC, who was born in Yacata Island, Province of Cakaudrove (1 January 1918 – 23 June 1944). He was a Fijian soldier who died in the field of battle which then led him to become a posthumous recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to Commonwealth forces. He is the only Fijian to be awarded the Victoria Cross. This Song is originally Sung By the group, Caucau Ni Delai Seatura, which has been interpolated in a new cover single, sung by Bale Koroi.
