LET THE BIBLE SPEAK - Witnesses At The Judgment

A person is accused of a crime and a trial is convened. The judge is seated and the prosecution and defense present countering arguments, enter records and other items into evidence. The defendant offers an alibi. Then, a witness is called who either corroborates or contradicts the excuse of the accused. The Judgment Day is pictured much like a trial in passages such as Revelation 20:11-15 and when Jesus, the Judge Himself, pictures that day in Matthew 12, He predicts that witnesses will be called to the stand before the Great Throne of Judgment. The Lord said these witnesses will arise to condemn the unbelieving and unprepared.
