The Thomashuis in Sint Joost offers a unique glimpse into the Limburg care sector. Harriët runs this small-scale residential facility as if it were her second family. After her husband Han passed away a few years ago, Harriët was left to fend for herself. But the employees, volunteers, and residents helped the ‘mother of the Thomashuis’ through a pitch-black period. For this place in 'Sint Joas' is a warm nest, embraced by the entire village.
