Westleton Heath Nature Reserve Suffolk - A Hidden Gem And All Time Favourite.

Westleton Heath is one of our all time favourite places to visit throughout the seasons - there's always so much to enjoy. Here you will walk amongst nature and sometimes not see another soul. It's a great place for a short gentle stroll while listening to the plentiful birdsong, or you can stretch your adventurous urge and follow numerous paths through the heath and woodlands. It's a great place to spot many butterflies and bees as they enjoy the local flora including the striking display of rhododendrons and heathers. Westleton is very near to Dunwich so your walk could take you across both heaths. The area is also perfect for dog walking but you must observe the season notices of where there are ground nesting birds, so keeping dogs on a lead is a must. We have visited Westleton many times over the years and will definitely continue to do so. I hope you've enjoyed the video.
