I was able to record some great distant thunder sounds during an ocean side rainstorm recently next to a really cool pier at night. I love the fog horn in the distance every couple of minutes. It looks so amazing in the original video, but unfortunately it got really compressed when it was uploaded here and looks kindly blocky.
