Mindanao Indigenous Music

The music presented here by Tugma are indigenous music from Mindanao, specifically from Maguindanao and Lanao. Tugma is a group from the University of the Philippines - Diliman who, as they claim, wants to propagate and develop Philippine music already existing before Spanish colonialism. The presentation was made during Manilakbayan ng Mindanao - a journey in defense of land, the environment, and human rights by Mindanao indigenous and Moro people - held in Parks and Wildlife, Quezon City on December 8, 2012.
