KF Aerospace Convair 580 Full Startup, Taxi and Takeoff Sequence at Kamloops Airport

My apologies for the lack of uploads over the past view months, I’ve been busy with work and haven’t had much time to get out and film lately. However, I did manage to snag this video last night of the very last Convair 580 still active in Canada. The only other remaining Convair is classifies as a 5800 and has a stretched fuselage. In recent months, the Convair 580 has become a very rare sight here at YKA, and the vast majority of our KF flights have been operated by the newer ATR-72-500’s that have been steadily replacing the old Convairs. In fact, the last time I recorded the Convair was several months ago. Needless to say, I was thrilled to get some more footage of this beauty, and perhaps for the very last time as well.
