Bumping into it or even a slight push can cause it to tumble over. We find that the tools are very simple and the crevice tool is very short. In addition, the tools are compression fit (push on / pull off) and we show that a “click fit” approach like that used with the Shark Rocket Pro would have been nice. We perform a small-to-medium size debris pickup test on our tile floor and it results in fairly average pickup. We compare the NV360 to the NV752, the ZU62, and the ZU561. The NV360 has the poorest pickup of the four vacuums tested. We also test the same 4 machines on large debris and both the NV360 and NV752 trailed behind the ZU62 and the ZU561. Large debris tests on carpet were inconclusive with the NV360 doing a good job of pickup something and other times a poor job of pickup. The NV360 does a good job of picking up hair but it does get a lot of that hair wrapped around the brushroll – which can be a pain to remove. We do a hair pickup test with the ZU62 and the NV360. The ZU62 has Zero-M Technology which is designed to limit hair wrap. There is a marked difference in the hair wrap when these two machines were tested – the ZU62 had very little and the NV360 has a lot. The power cord on this unit is only about 25 feet in length and in our opinion this is a little short. We have also noticed that the NV360 doesn’t turn very sharply. We compare the turning radius to that of the ZU561 and you can see that the NV360 doesn’t compare. The hose on the NV360 is very short. If you try to use a tool on the end of the handle, for example, you will get a very limited reach before the vacuum is pulled over. We recognize that the unit has the lift away feature but some folks like to just quickly put a tool on the handle and do some cleaning. As mentioned, we like the lift-away feature but there are two different kinds of lift-away – powered and non-powered. The NV360 has non-powered lift away. Finally we undertake some edge-cleaning tests comparing the NV360 to the Pet Pro ZU62 and the Navigator ZU561. The NV360 does not do edge cleaning as well as the other two vacuums.
