What is ACTUALLY Means to Accept Yourself 🌈

So many people act as though once you "accept" yourself everything changes in your life. And that is just not the case for most of us. Acceptance is a journey, just like coming out is. There are things you can't heal until you have one other layers of work, which makes the process necessary and individual. But that doesn't mean you don't need support. Because support is just as essential as giving yourself credit for the work you HAVE done and are doing. So watch this week's Ask a Therapist video for help in understanding what it means to actually accept yourself, why it feels hard sometimes, how to get through the hard, and also how to keep learning. #askatherapist #lgbt #acceptance Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @kellyrminter   These videos are for educational, entertainment, and informational purposes only and are meant solely as self-help tools for your own use.
