Усть-Катав: моногород трамваев без трамвая

Ust-Katav is a single-industry town in the Chelyabinsk region. Usually, it is known due to the local wagon-building plant, at one time it built 14,991 KTM-5M trams (71-605), which ran in the cities of the USSR from Tashkent to Daugavpils. In many cities, this is the main tram to this day. In the videos, we go to the plant, today it makes trams for Novokuznetsk and Krasnodar. They also make something for satellites and are trying to master the elevator with Gagarin's voice, but we were not allowed there. The life and atmosphere of production here stopped in the 1960s - how can you create a modern tram in such a place? We also walk around the city itself, there are interesting old artifacts and cute details.
