Heisaura Beach in Chiba Prefecture is famous as a good spot for surf casting. With early summer upon us, it's the season for catching a variety of fish, including flounder, bluefish, and sea bass. At first glance, the surf looks plain, but the shape of the seabed and the currents are complex. Using a variety of lures, master angler Mitsuya Hotta clearly explains where to go and how to catch fish. His strategy is spot on, as he catches large flounder one after the other.
