PROFESSOR SCOTT EVANS is Assistant Professor at the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, Florida State University. His main interests are centered on the biology and ecology of soft-bodied organisms from critical transitions in the history of life on Earth, focusing on the Ediacaran period over five-hundred million years ago.
