This trip to Pantai Indah Kapuk felt completely different—especially since I came during the day when it was quieter. Rather than being boring, the vibe was even more distinctly "not Indonesian." The streets were wide, clean, and well-maintained, with minimal traffic and people, making for a more peaceful and comfortable stroll. The journey began at the Harmoni Gate (Dragon Statue) at PIK 2. Under the hot midday sun, the detailed oriental architecture of this gate became even more pronounced and majestic. Since it was quiet, I was able to take photos without interruption, even getting angles that would be difficult in busy times. Continuing to the Tokyo Riverside Apartment area at PIK 2, the atmosphere felt even more like being abroad. The relatively quiet afternoon made the area feel super clean and serene. Rows of modern Japanese-style apartments, wide streets, and a tidy environment made walking here feel like being in a very chilled Japanese urban area. There's also a modern market within the area, a great spot to take a break from the midday heat. The place is comfortable, clean, and still not too crowded. I had the chance to try some of the culinary delights here—the choices range from snacks to substantial meals, perfect for refueling after a day of sightseeing. Walking around PIK 2 during the day when it's quiet has its own unique feel.
