Isaac Boamah-Nyarko (MP for Effia), who says falling inflation and improving exchange rate conditions make the latest tariff increment difficult to justify, insisting consumers should not continue paying for inefficiencies. Abdul-Fatawu Alhassan (NDC MP for Yendi), who defends the quarterly adjustment mechanism, arguing that smaller periodic increases are preferable to large, one-off hikes and that current economic management has softened the impact.
